Jesus managed to stay on assignment, on his mission, but he never let his mission rule over him and interrupt who he was sent to save.

One thing that sticks out to me about Jesus is he was never, ever, not once,… in a hurry. He gets interrupted so many times you’d think it would be a nuisance but in the stories told about him it almost seems like he fully expected to be interrupted. All the time. He’d be interrupted, fully present, do his Jesus thing, and then get back to what he was doing before he was interrupted without skipping a beat.
